A valid-looking MMYY suffix is not enough on its own. The full code shape and the item's post-2012 context should agree.

Check the reverse of a lining-matched rectangular label near a zip or pocket. Some newer pieces place a heat stamp directly on interior material.

No published workshop-to-country table supports turning the opening letters into a location.
Older twelve-digit references should be classified as older format rather than rejected as a bad modern date.
